Many members organise their own games with other members, either singles or doubles, either as a one off or more usually as a regular weekly booking. Members are free to organise their own doubles or singles at any time when the courts are available. Generally these are on weekday mornings but other times are available. Please see the notice board for specific availability.

League Matches

– Organised by Ladies’ and Men’s Captains and Match Secretary

We compete in the Gloucestershire, South Warwickshire and Evesham leagues during the summer and winter. We have six teams (3 Ladies’ & 3 Men’s) that cater for the whole range of club player ability. About one third of our adult members play League tennis. Only fully paid up members can play in matches and a match fee of £2.50 is charged per player. Annual Club Tournament

There is an Annual Club Tournament played between May and September each year with a Finals Day in early September. Guidelines for how this is organised are displayed on the notice board each year.

Mix-In Social Tennis Nights

– Self organised by those members present

These take place on Tuesday & Thursday evenings between 6.30pm and 8.30pm from 1st April to 31st October. They are an excellent means of meeting new players of similar ability and are enjoyed by all – all are welcome of whatever standard. The emphasis is very much on a fun, sociable game. Members play a normal short set (first to 6 games) with normal deuces. At the end of the set partners and opponents are changed by drawing playing cards. Anyone drawing an ace plays on Court 1, a two on Court 2 and a three on Court 3. Partners and opponents within each court are decided at the discretion of the players on that court.
